What means megapixel.- മേഗപിക്സേല്‍ എന്തിനു???

Whenever anyone want to buy a camera, whether it is a compact camera or Dslr camera people mostly check the camera features and price. When they see the specs always they give the priority for the Mega pixel. But always they will get confuse about that the Compact camera is 16-20 mega pixel and DSLR camera only with 12-18 mega pixel. Why this happens?? Actually the basic need of mega pixel in a camera is to determine the print size of a picture. The larger the mega pixel the bigger you can make the print-out of the picture. Most of us will take a print of post card size or a maximum of A4 size. For that its only need to have a 3 to 8 mega pixel.

                 A pixel is a dot. So mega pixel means means 1000 dots. So 14 mega pixel is equal to 14000 dots. Most of the camera will be included with the option of changing the mega pixel. If you need to use the picture for the use of mailing or Facebook upload then you can just reduce the mega pixel to 2 or in some camera will have a option of PC mega pixel. 

So now you may ask that why that most of the company comes with 24 and 36 mega pixels. Actually that is only in the highly professional camera which need when the professionals play with ISO and other manual control. so as per my suggestion never go behind megapixel for compact cameras.  

പലരും ചോദിക്കുനത് കേള്‍ക്കാറുണ്ട് എത്ര മെഗാപിക്സെല്‍ വേണം എന്താണ് ക്യാമറ വാങ്ങുമ്പോള്‍ നോക്കേണ്ടത് എന്നൊക്കെ. അവരോടു പറയാനുള്ളത്‌ ഒന്ന് മാത്രം. ഒരിക്കലും നിങ്ങള്‍ മെഗാപിക്സെല്‍ ന്റെ പിന്നാലെ ഓടരുത് എന്ന് മാത്രമാണ്. കാരണം ഒരു ഡിജിറ്റല്‍ ക്യാമറ യെ സംബന്ധിച്ചിടത്തോളം ഒരിക്കലും മെഗാപിക്സേല്‍ എന്നത് ഒരു മുഖ്യ കാര്യം അല്ല. ഒരു A4 വണ്ണത്തില്‍ ഉള്ള ഒരു പ്രിന്‍റ് വരെ വെറും എട്ടു മേഗപിക്സേല്‍ ഉള്ള ഒരു ക്യാമറ ഉപയോഗിച്ച് ഫോട്ടോ എടുത്താല്‍ സാധിക്കും.അതായത്‌ മൂന്ന് മേഗപിക്സേല്‍ ഉള്ള ഒരു ക്യാമറ ഉപയോഗിച്ച് ഫോട്ടോ എടുത്താല്‍ അത് A4 വണ്ണത്തില്‍ പ്രിന്‍റ് എടുത്താല്‍ ക്ലിയര്‍ ഉണ്ടാവണമെന്നില്ല. ആ ചിത്രം നിങ്ങള്‍ക്ക്  ഒരു പോസ്റ്റ്‌ കാര്‍ഡ്‌ വണ്ണത്തില്‍ പ്രിന്‍റ് എടുത്താല്‍ നല്ലതായിരിക്കും. ഇപ്പൊ മനസ്സിലായി കാണുമല്ലോ എന്താണ് കാര്യം എന്നത്. നിങ്ങള്‍ നോകേണ്ടത് ക്യാമറയുടെ മറ്റു ഫീച്ചര്‍കള്‍ ആണ്. സൂം - സെന്‍സര്‍ പോലുള്ളവ. അതിനെ  പറ്റി അടുത്ത പോസ്റ്റില്‍ വിശദീകരിക്കാന്‍ ശ്രമിക്കാം. സംശയങ്ങള്‍ ഉണ്ടെങ്കില്‍ ചോദിക്കാം .. കമന്റ്‌ ചെയ്യാന്‍ മറക്കല്ലേ.......
