Nikon cooloix P520 and Fujifilm HS30 - comparison

Most of the people would like to upgrade their old compact camera to a higher level camera which gives more zoom, more picture quality and also should be easy to use. As per my opinion who ever dont know to use the program mode in the camera never buy a DSLR. Because if you want to make use of a DSLR camera you should have to use the program, shutter control, aperture control modes in the camera. Otherwise the camera will be a waste for you.
So in this scene its better to upgrade with a bridge/semi professional camera which the current market holds a  variety of models. In that the Fujifilm leads with the varieties in this category. They have plenty of models starting from 499 Dirhams till 1799 Dirhams. In between this range they have almost 9 and above models in the market.
The top model in Nikon in this category is Nikon coolpix P520 and in fujifilm is HS 35.
Nikon P520 has 18 megapixel which in Fujifilm HS35 has only 16 megapixels. But its not compulsory to have more megapixel as I mentioned in the previous post about the need of megapixel.
The next is the zoom . 42X optical zoom in Nikon P520 which is automatic zoom anf the Fujifilm HS35 has a zoom of 30x optical which you can zoom manually as same as DSLR lenses. In HS 35 its clearly mentioned the maximum magnification range on the top of the lens that you can see when you make zoom which will help you to know the range which you are zooming. But in P520 that information is not available. Then we can take the focusing speed. The Nikon P520 has a bit slow focusing when the zoom is at 38x to 42x where the Fujifilm HS30 will focus very fast in any range when compared to P520. But Nikon improved their focusing speed a far better than the old model called Nikon P510.
